The dimension of space, and the coexistence of materials and volumes are at the core of Boyd de Jong’s work, leading to a tangible contrast between man-made and naturally arising shapes; free forms of colours and solids converge with geometrics and surfaces, in such a way that the paintings and installations constantly question and complement each other.
