G-Brecht creates contemporary landscapes. He uses photography for his artwork, with a main interest in our western modern world. Combining different dimensions, he causes new evocative images to occur. His Zones or Areas are deserted and disquieting, and they appear to us as film stills, with a cinematic quality.

For This Art Fair G-Brecht chose a number of paintings which will be also included in his upcoming solo exhibition in London, opening 12 January 2016. This show, called ‘Lucky Strike’, will be the First EU Presidency Exhibition at Europe House in London organised by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to mark the Netherlands Presidency of the Council of the EU.
