Karin Rianne Westendorp (1985) graduated from AKI ArtEZ Enschede in 2010, specializing in Autonomous Arts 4D / Media Art. Her heart, however, lies with drawing. First, she takes a piece of paper and turns it black using charcoal, then she uses rubber on charcoal to make the white appear again. This allows her to place very thin, agile lines firmly onto the surface. Her work invites you to look twice, it draws you into the deep.
