My method of creating art is a process in which I want to create or construct an image very swiftly. This process relies mostly on intuition because I’m more of a practical doer instead of over-thinking my next steps. In this way a volatile process arises where I use raw or new materials, utensils or artefacts. For me it is all in the details so I create these pieces very carefully. Although I create three-dimensional art it regularly feels like I am actually drawing or painting. A rhythm of wooden battens abreast might seem like thick brush marks while an angular frame appears to be the same as a scratchy pencil. However, some works seem like everyday scenes, caught in a moment of modesty querying space and time.
