Kylli Sparre (1980) lives and works in Tallinn, Estonia.

Sparre’s work is influenced by her previous career as a ballet dancer. The artist desires to look beneath the surface, hear the unsaid words and study the relationships between people and their surroundings. Sparre tells you a story with her work, in which subject and surroundings can become one. It transforms almost into a dance. Although her work can be theatrical, there is always an utter sense of peace emerging from it.

Sparre’s work is internationally praised and was awarded the Sony World Photography Award 2014.
