“Make visible what, without you, might perhaps never have been seen.”

Serge Steijn  is a visual artist who works and exhibits in Buenos Aires and Amsterdam.

Thierry Somers, editor in chief of 200% magazine wrote the following about Steijn’s work:

“Steijn makes us aware of the visual rhythms and structures of our immediate environment. He coins it ‘Romantic Order’, which sounds like the title of a poem. An apparent paradox, which he investigates throughout his work.”

Steijn’s first book ‘Romantic Order’ will be available at This Art Fair.

Serge Steijn grew up in the same tiny village as Jef Stapel. After fifteen years they met again and found interesting similarities in their approach to art. That is why they exhibit together at This Art Fair 2015.
