One of the themes that I research in my work is based on my fascination with the botanical world, and especially with communication within this world. How do all these different parts work together? I present the Hortus Botanicus as the arena for an orgy of Eros. Scents, colours and inflorescence are parts of the game of temptation. I use the conditions in the botanical world as a metaphor for human relationships. In ‘This Fully Female Frame’, for example, I investigate the ‘soft power of the feminine’. This last year the relationship beween 2D and 3D has become more and more a part of my work.
