I try to depict observations from daily life with a smile. In all my art projects, there is a love for simple, intelligent and strange ideas woven together. For example, I stood with a kitchen on the mudflats near Terschelling that was flooded at high tide, I cut flowers square and for my documentary ‘Bart and the stone that returned home’ I brought a boulder back home after 200,000 years.
