Bart Eysink Smeets graduated at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2012 and started to work as a visual artist. He thinks in ideas, rather than images, and therefore he would never describe himself as a photographer. Still, the end product of his artistic practice almost always consists of photographs, so if you call him a photographer it’s not a big insult.

In his work he plays with simple ideas that will always make you laugh a little bit. His ideas are born from a childish look at the world around us. He tries to make you look at your surroundings in a new way.
