Bhakti is a visual artist whose work is rooted in personal experience, often shaped by travels to unfamiliar places. Her project Sanskaar reflects on the grief following the loss of her biological parents and explores how mourning can be expressed through ritual and material forms.
As part of this project, she performed a symbolic self-cremation based on traditional Nepalese funeral rites: a transformative act that embodied both farewell and rebirth.
