What does it mean to be the most successful animal species since the beginning of time? Why do we distance ourselves from our animal heritage? Do we have free will or are we products of our biological heritage and social context?

The reason I ask myself these questions is because I think humanity lies to itself about its own identity. That’s why I use philosophy and science in search for our true identity. With every artwork I peel layers off the ideas we have about ourselves and question their essence in regard to reality.

My works invite the viewer to play mind games, follow a fictional narrative and question their own identity.
