Debbie Schoone is an image maker whose work explores the influence of man on our environment and our surroundings. With her work she questions our changing relationship with nature and asks the question: is it wrong that our connection is slowly disappearing?

Photography is a way to visualise her fascination and wonder for innovation in the field of sustainability and our environment, and to make it more accessible to others. By combining different kinds of imagery and approaches, her work is a visual exploration of the subject, in which her own interpretation comes first. By showing these discoveries in an installation, she bridges the distance from the viewer to the subject.
