In a world in which many of us experience virtual reality as more true than the reality found outside our own front door, Dominique Gebbink captures images while wandering through Google Street View or flying over Apple Maps.

This may result in landscape or documentary photography in our online world, but more often in autonomous fine art work.

In her projects, representation and interpretation of reality always play a part. How perfect can a representation of reality be? Does a perfect representation exist? Do we all see reality in the same way?
