The perpetual questioning of identity and semiology, coupled with an urge for connectedness, leads me to explore a constellation of craftsmanship while capturing the sense of material awareness. The diversity of works is the result of my joy of creating and storytelling. The multiplicity of techniques, spanning across woodcarving, sewing, handicrafts, bookbinding and installation, operates both as art and functional disciplines.

Within an increasingly absurd world, I fixate upon basic materials and seek their sense of directness and control. It is this meditative repetition of making and collecting that leads to a creative space in which I can freely indulge in the whimsical arbitrariness of the quiet stigmas attached to the medium, focusing instead on self-expression and recording life. The hand-drawn Po Kit Pills and the mysterious and provocative Nipple Hair Book are key pieces in my development.

In Take my Home Away, the interchangeable use of bold and unusual materials – such as hair, medication, eggshells and tools – exemplifies fluidity in my creating. The non-traditional approach reflects my earnest desire to subvert boundaries between practical and avant-garde hierarchies, and to expand the limits of medium specificity. The resulting works are playful in spirit, unapologetically personal and experimental.
