According to Esther Schwertasek, ”Art is showing involvement”.

Schwertasek is a documentary painter, who works on the same subject for several months at a time. She recently started working on a series of paintings about the Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam, with its fascinating history of housing Jewish refugees and serving as a prison during and after WWII.

At This Art Fair Schwertasek will show the first paintings of this subject.
