I make sculptures and installations in which I use my materials associatively. I attach different meanings to my materials, giving my work a certain symbolic value. I often use two components that form a duality with each other, often involving themes of inclusion and domination. I regularly make quasi-recognisable images in which graphs, information transfer and invented data come across as “a world with its own rules”. Sometimes I approach that from a direct or comedic angle.

In this way, I use a visual language with recurring materials such as tiles, plexiglass, carpet, handicrafts and artificial grass. I hope by viewing more of my work you will recognise the stories I want to convey in my work.
