JW Kaldenbach (1959, The Hague, The Netherlands) is a photographer based in Amsterdam. His commissioned work ranges from fashion and design to advertisement, with a strong emphasis on portraits. His autonomous work follows from this and has regularly been presented in exhibitions and books.

Kaldenbach’s work is all about interaction. He doesn’t wait for the decisive moment to happen but rather creates it himself by connecting and moving with his subject. Honesty is key, both in approach and result. The tone is mostly upbeat and positive, always aiming for an inherent natural beauty that could be but isn’t necessarily glamorous.

For This Art Fair Kaldenbach presents a series of portraits and abstract architectural photographs of the Liège-Guillemins train station designed by Santiago Calatrava. A selection of works from the realm of art, fashion and design is presented digitally.
