This Amsterdam-based artist graduated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. In 2013 Liselotte Fontrodona founded Fontrodona Artspace in Amsterdam, organizing exhibitions on a monthly basis, presenting emerging or established artists with experimental works.

Fontrodona’s work consists mainly of sculptures and installations. Her work is seen as bright and subtle, and it has a vulnerable force. Her artistic research is mainly focused on identity (identity in travesty, cultural identity versus universal identity, and identity change in life).

In 2016, Fontrodona won the first prize for her concept for the Melkweg (Amsterdam concerthall), with the GRIT-project, organized by the Amsterdam Centre of Entrepreneurship. She participated in several artist residencies: in 2016 at HANGAR.ORG in Barcelona, in 2017 in Berlin at LiTE-HAUS projektraum, and at the end of 2017 at NARS foundation in New York. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Salzburg, Barcelona, Berlin and New York.
