Artist Malou Cohen can be seen as an urban comber, a collector of magic and finds, and a storyteller. Cohen lives and works in The Hague. She graduated from HKU Fine arts academy in 2010.

According to Cohen, ‘most beauty can be found in a dirty little corner’. The artist about her work:

One peculiar sentence from a random conversation,
a piece of plastic in the shape of an iceberg,
a dirty window which is clouding the sun,
polyurethane foam like an island in the sea,
a metal bowl that looks like a universe

Malou Cohen’s work consists of showing / sharing / collecting / combining these findings and discoveries from everyday life.
