The image of your home changes as soon as you lie in bed for a long time. It can be the most boring yet inspiring place. Last year, I had knee surgery that left me in bed for four months. To escape from this, I transformed elements from everyday life into my own dreamlike world. Through the lens of my Polaroid camera, I went on a voyage of discovery between the walls of my own home.
Often driven by questions, I explore my surroundings with childlike imagination. By changing the context and adding unusual elements I search for images that hover between the real and the surreal. Using analogue photography and materials such as textiles or ceramics, I create my own dreamy world.
