Have you ever felt stuck between where you are and where you want to be? My paintings explore moments of transition – whether it’s balancing on the edge of change, questioning identity, or searching for connection. Through bold colours and surreal characters, I bring these feelings to life.
At This Art Fair 2025, I am showing works from my Birthday Bash series. In Crossing the Line, a figure walks a tightrope, caught between stability and uncertainty: a reflection of my own journey after graduation. Celestial Flame features a cat-like humanoid dressed in bold fashion, challenging ideas of beauty, confidence, and self-perception. Fire of a Love Ball introduces a party-loving proboscis monkey searching for love.
Each painting is personal yet open-ended, inviting viewers to find their own stories within them. My work is playful, sometimes absurd, but always rooted in real emotions. I hope people see a bit of themselves in these characters – whether they’re balancing on the edge, dressing up to be seen, or chasing something they can’t quite define.
