Fuming, gazing, staring, haunting, anything.
Fooling around with my airbrush gun, going on adventures with my analog camera, making interesting concoctions with paints and other strange chemicals. I am constantly experimenting in a lot of different ways, combining unusual materials for unexpected outcomes. I try to capture through my work what can’t be described with words, in order to gain more control and better navigate the world. The topics in my work revolve around epilepsy, identity, dissociation, mental health, the dream world, societal issues, internet culture, and the rapid and intense developments of our time.
My inspiration comes from the merging of my thoughts, stimuli, experiences, and the influence of our fast-moving society. By combining all these elements, I create images that are somewhat familiar, yet leave plenty of room for discovery and personal interpretation. Using unusual media, like my airbrush, I work on the canvas in ways that make blur and sharp contrast battle each other.
