The eagerness to create lies within the extraction of images of complete human civilization, symbols that examine all cultures and ages. These are used to clarify the storyline, or just the opposite: to make a cryptic narrative that fascinates me. I’m looking for the magic in the disguised small drawings which I want to bring together as a new powerful whole that stands on its own. In my work, using mainly graphic techniques, I allow cultures and ages to occur simultaneously as a unified story. My symbols are often new but reminiscent of existing relics and objects from bygone eras, with contemporary and therefore distinguished details.
