Catching ideas

‘Ideas are like fish. If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you’ve got to go deeper. Down deep the fish are more powerful and more pure. They’re huge and abstract. And they’re very beautiful….

Everything, anything that is a thing, comes from the deepest level. The more your consciousness -your awareness- is expanded, the deeper you go towards this source, and the bigger the fish you can catch.’ -David Lynch, Catching the Big Fish

I have caught some fish for you.. Big and small ideas, turned into patents. Each fish is unique and handmade as there are all kinds of patents for everything and everyone. The different shapes and sizes represent the big or small impact of these patents. Some patents obviously had big impact on our lives, for others it’s more a matter of taste or generation. I think that everyone can identify with a certain patent in my installation. Find out which one inspires you and remember: every succes started with a wild idea..
