This is a test for the project I’ll be
working on at i iMal in March 2022 as
part of my Halaqat residency. It’s a
continuous on the subject of digital
connections, portraying the way we
project fragments of ourselves onto
the digital realm, and how those fragments
are perceived by others and
how they reflect back onto us.
For this project, head sculptures will
be produced in various shapes and
distorted in various ways to depict the
deformation of the self. The participant’s
picture will be live captured and
projected onto the sculptures utilising
TouchDesigner for face tracking and
projection mapping.
