Before becoming a full-time artist, I did humanitarian work because of a naïve ambition to make our world better, fighting for people and children living in poverty and desperate situations. Now I am trying to change the world through my art and discussions with visitors (I welcome all). My artwork shown at This Art Fair is inspired by current political and social issues like climate change, discrimination, social isolation (covid) etc. This is a way for me to express my own anxieties and a way to discuss with people looking at my work.
I am heavily influenced by comics, kids’ drawings and street art. Mixed with renaissance and realism I end up at a blend of styles. My mantra is “Art for All”.
After graduating from the Royal Academy (KABK) I was selected as part of the SBK exhibition Sprouts Young Talent – Best Art Graduate 2019.
