In a world that strives for perfection, I seek the beauty of imperfection. My work balances between control and letting go, fragility and strength, industrial precision and the flaws of handmade craft.
My visual language is layered:I work with drawings, printing techniques and materials such as glass, textiles and ceramics, which can serve as both surface and subject. Sometimes the material supports the image, other times it takes center stage. Colour, form and rhythm play a central role, combining geometric structures with organic shapes in search of balance.
My fascination with understanding techniques leads me to materials with unique qualities, such as the science behind glass: it behaves neither as solid nor liquid.
In my work, I explore the tension between nature and the artificial – where the ordinary is often overlooked, and the unexpected makes us stop and wonder. The weight of daily life reflects my critical mind, but in my work, I find lightness to think and move freely. It allows me to embrace playfulness and energy within my own perfectionism. By manipulating perspectives and creating movement, I invite the viewer to engage with my work from various angles. The interplay between abstraction and recognition makes it dynamic, encouraging deeper engagement.
