My work centers around archive practices. I seek to unveil hidden connections across various surroundings through intuition and research. By combining different fields using new materials, I intertwine inherent content to create something novel. My projects are dedicated to uncovering easily overlooked moments in daily life, glitches in new technologies and recurring elements in the environment, contemplating their potential positioning within a larger context.
In the current wave of Artificial Intelligence, the mainstream narrative revolves around seeking new tools to create more perfect images. However, my project delves into AI-generated glitch images – “blurred hands” – exploring the visual archives that exist in the value zone between the virtual and the real. Through multiple visual experiments, I engage in speculative reflections on the temporality of technology, contemplating the entanglement of blurred hands and humanity from a poetic standpoint.
The exposed weaknesses in the technical process offer us a glimpse into the underlying mechanisms. In the interaction between the virtual and the real, how do we position errors in AI-generated images? What significance do imperfect hand glitches carry? How do we situate ourselves in the future?
