As you have come to expect from This Art Fair, all artists will be present themselves to tell you about their work. All the art you see is also for sale. The artists are all former participants of This Art Fair, and together they represent what we stand for: celebrating the art of today in all its facets! Among other things, you can expect a number of projects that relate in a unique way to the narrow corridors and old powder magazines of the historic Forteiland IJmuiden.

About Art Island
Art Island is an art fair distinguished by its adventurous location: participants and visitors alike take a boat to the beautiful island, a place you’d normally never visit. The art isn’t presented on sterile white walls, but often directly on the rough bricks. Participants don’t have a conventional booth, but their own space in the fort. What began as a showcase of Amsterdam’s best galleries has now grown into a national selection of renowned art institutions. You can find the participants at art-island.nl.
