What It Costs & What You Get

Are you thinking about applying for This Art Fair 2025? Great! To help you make a well-informed decision, let us tell you more about the participation fee and what you get in return.

As a not-for-profit organisation that does everything to support artists, we do our best to keep participation costs as low as possible. However, in these challenging times, we too have had to increase prices in order to cover the rising costs. As you know, everything has become more expensive, and so have location, production and promotion costs. However, our participation fee is still just a fraction of what a gallery usually pays for a booth at an art fair.

Participation fees

There are 3 ways to participate: as an individual artist, as a duo, or with an installation.

  • Individual participants pay €1199,- excl. VAT for a booth of 10 linear meters of wall and 12 m2 of floor space, including 5 entrance tickets.
  • A small duo stand costs €1599,- excl. VAT for a booth with 12 linear meters of wall and approx. 16 m2 of floor space (incl. 20 entrance tickets).
  • A large duo stand costs €1799,- excl. VAT for a booth with at least 14 linear meters of wall and at least 18 m2 of floor space (incl. 10 entrance tickets)
  • An installation costs €100,- per square meter (including 5 entrance tickets)

50% Discount for starting artists

To stimulate starting artists, we give them a 50% discount! That means a solo booth costs only € 599,50 instead of € 1199 excl. VAT. Want to share a duo booth? That would cost you less than € 400 (small) or € 450 (large) each. If you want to present an installation in the open space, this would be just € 50 per m2 rather than the regular € 100.

We understand that this can be quite the investment for individual artists.

So, what would you get in return?

  • Participation in an established, respected and diverse art fair in a prominent location at the lively artistic hotspot NDSM-werf in Amsterdam-Noord;
  • Your own booth where you can present and sell your art to the many visitors (art lovers; private, corporate and museum collectors; art professionals such as curators and gallerists) for 4 days, including a festive opening;
  • 100% of the profit of everything you sell;
  • The opportunity to build your network: you would get to know many visitors, but also fellow participating artists;
  • Four masterclasses by artist club This Works, where professionals will teach you all about a specific relevant subject, such as communication, presentation or conversation techniques;
  • Coaching: an art world professional would guide you in your preparations. You would learn many new skills that are useful for the rest of your career;
  • Our guarantee that we do everything in our power to promote the fair, you and your work: at the event but also on our website, social media, press, newsletters, etc.;
  • Our guarantee that the organisation makes no profit and every euro of your participation fee goes into your booth, the location and coaching.
