Daniela Jordanova reflects in her work on the complexity of the personal human universe and its relationship to nature and its social environment. Her research investigates the confrontation between different types of realities. As artist she proposes an approach by combining both figurative and abstract forms, mostly working in series. Her creations include different visual mediums: drawing, collage, painting, video and site specific installations.
Founder of Art Production in 1997 in Nantes, France (together with Stefan Yordanov) she also conceives and designs projects (installations, sculptures, interactive structures) for interior or outdoor public spaces. These artistic interventions could be temporary but also sustainable as well. The challenge of these projects in different areas: science, industry, education, etc. is to create new situations in the social space and therefore initiate new points of view.
