I prefer to live without a clock; in a timeless state without stress or needs. While I concentrate on the silence within myself, I behold how the world rumbles on around me.

As I’m descending from the void, slowly returning to earth, I find myself in my studio in The Hague. The sun sheds its ​rays on holographic materials, allowing a colorful play of light to appear. Stocked shelves contain an array of paint tubes resembling the colors of the sky. When finally the night falls, glow-in-the-dark pigments softly illuminate the space.
While time marches on and the world continues to spin, an image appears on the canvas.
