At This Art Fair, I will display a series of wall works that I developed from an interest in car tuning culture and the relationship between function and aesthetics. As cars are transformed to perform better, the stickers used on them indicate motion and speed, and often resemble brushstrokes. I started out by making compositions of vinyl stickers which I applied on existing car parts. This led to developing a process using techniques and materials used in the automotive industry mixed with a DIY approach to create my own shapes using EPS foam, acrylic resin, high-gloss paint and custom vinyl stickers. 

At This Art Fair I will share a booth with Amrith de Zoete.
